Custom order measurements

It is very important to get all the measurements taken accurately to make sure that the dress or a costume fits beautifully without having to try it on. Please read carefully all instructions below and fill out the measurements chart. We also made a video for your convenience, that demonstrates HOW those measurements should be taken.

 

Instructions and important tips on taking measurements, and what to expect next. 

  1. Download and print Measurement Chart for Ladies or Measurement Chart for Gentlemen. You will appreciate the convenience of writing down all required measurements into the Chart that you can also share with us via email. It also shows what each measurement is and how to take it.

    The whole process should take about 15-20 minutes. Please write all measurements in centimeters CM!

    TIPS:
    • Wear something smooth fitting i.e. tank top and leggings.
    • Tie up tape (or similar) around your natural waist. It will ensure all measurements that use waist as a reference are consistent.
    • Use a non-stretch dressmakers tape measure.
    • When taking measurements, stand straight with your muscles relaxed.
    • Let the tape run closely over the body without dropping.
    • Check all measurements to ensure accuracy.


  2. When you are ready, Contact us to let us know what model and color you would like to use for your custom order. Share the measurements with us by sending it at hello@americanballroomcouture.com. You can also call us any time at 949-550-4343 if you have any questions. 
  3. Next, we will call you to discuss your custom order. Once it is finalized, we will send you an email with the order details. quote and a link for payment. For custom orders a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before the production starts. 

  4. When we receive your deposit, we will start working on your order and will keep you updated on the status. When the dress or costume is ready, we will let you know and arrange its' delivery to your address. 

  5. We will greatly appreciate your feedback and enjoy the photos of your child wearing their new beautiful outfit!
